Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must have completed at least 12 years of formal education in their home country, or an equivalent level of education. (The required period may vary depending on the country.)

Applicants must be able to submit a certificate proving at least 150 hours of Japanese language study, or demonstrate Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N5 or above.

Applicants must have a financial sponsor residing either in their home country or in Japan who is able to cover their tuition and living expenses for the duration of their stay in Japan.
